Real-world Internships in Science & Engineering (RISE) Program

The 5th Annual RISE Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground is a one-of-a-kind paid internship experience for high school students interested in STEM.

At this time, there is no information available about the 2021 RISE Program. Please check back in January as new information is available.

If you have specific questions about the RISE program or our other events, contact the C5ISR Center Community Outreach Office via email at usarmy.apg.ccdc-c5isr.mbx.outreach@mail.mi.

The RISE Program is a two-week internship program for current High School students who will be 16 years of age on or before July 1, 2020.

Program participants work with professional engineers and scientists to complete results oriented work. In addition to technical skills, students develop professional skills through a series of leadership workshops.

Over the course of the two-week RISE Program, students spend between six and seven hours each day working in professional APG labs. Students are exposed to real-world technology and provide assistance to the engineers and scientists who work at APG to support the Soldier.

If you have questions about the RISE program, please reach out to Rachael Brown at 443-395-7376 or usarmy.apg.ccdc-c5isr.mbx.outreach@mail.mil

The Application period for 2020 RISE has closed. Thank you for your interest.
